1. What Thymely is
Thymely teaches.
Thymely gives aromatherapy education drawn from its library of course lessons, recipes, oil profiles, safety guides, and lab reports, written and curated over decades. Answers are education, not medical advice, and using Thymely does not make us your healthcare provider.
Essential oils are powerful. Used the wrong way they can irritate, sensitize, cause allergic or phototoxic reactions, or interact with medications. Follow the dilution and safety guidance Thymely gives. Check with a certified professional before using essential oils during pregnancy or nursing, with babies and children, with older adults, around pets, or alongside a medical condition or medication. That can be a physician, nurse practitioner, chiropractor, osteopath, certified aromatherapist, or another qualified practitioner. Do not ingest essential oils unless a professional trained in that use has advised it.
Thymely is not for emergencies. If you or someone near you may be having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.
You decide how to use what you learn, and you are responsible for those decisions.
2. How answers are made
Thymely is in beta, and answers can be wrong.
Thymely is an automated assistant. It composes each answer from human-written and verified content in the library and names its sources so you can read them yourself. Humans make mistakes, and Thymely can pick those up. Answers can also leave things out or fall behind the latest edition of a guide. Read the sources for anything that matters, and use your judgment. Please tell us when something is wrong, with the Not helpful or Report buttons or by email, and we will look at it right away. Corrections go into the library at the source.
3. Your account
One person, one account.
You need to be 18 or older to hold an account, or have a parent or guardian's permission and supervision, in which case they are responsible for your use.
Your account is for you alone. Keep your sign-in email secure, and do not share a link, code, or account with anyone else. Thriving Aromatherapist members reach Thymely through the email on their membership, so a shared account also breaks that link. Tell us at hello@askthymely.com if you think someone else has used your account.
4. Memberships, prices, and billing
Membership starts when you pay. Prices can change, with notice.
Thymely Lite and Thymely Premium are sold at askthymely.com and billed by Stripe. The price, billing period, and renewal terms are shown at checkout. Memberships renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancel anytime from your account page. Your access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.
Members of The Thriving Aromatherapist receive Thymely Premium as part of that membership. Its billing and cancellation follow the Thriving Aromatherapist terms at thriveeo.com, and your Thymely access follows that membership.
We may change our prices. If a price change affects your membership, we will email you at least 30 days before your next renewal at the new price. You can cancel before the renewal and pay nothing more. Continuing past the renewal is your acceptance of the new price.
You can cancel at any time. We do not offer refunds, with one exception: if Thymely is not working for you and you can show us the problem, email hello@askthymely.com and we will make it right. Where a payment is refunded or disputed, the membership it paid for ends.
Taxes may be added where the law requires.
5. Your chats, your profile, your feedback
What you tell Thymely stays yours and stays private.
Your questions are yours. We store your conversations so you can return to them: your recent twenty and your favorites are kept, Premium keeps everything, and below Premium an unstarred chat older than your recent twenty is removed after 30 days.
You may save profile notes about your household, health, and preferences. Thymely reads them at the start of each chat to keep answers within the right safety bands, and nothing else uses them. You can change or delete them anytime, and they are never sold or shared for marketing.
When you rate an answer, report one, or send feedback, our team reads it. That is how the library gets better. We may use conversations, in a form that does not identify you, to check Thymely's accuracy and improve it. Our Privacy Policy has the full picture.
6. Using what you learn
Personal use is always fine. Public and commercial use needs a citation.
Everything Thymely draws on, and every answer it writes, belongs to ThriveEO LLC or the Aromahead family companies who license it to us. Your membership gives you a personal license to read, save, print, and use it in your own practice and home.
You are welcome to use Thymely's answers in your work, including social media posts, classes, course material, client handouts, books, websites, and products you sell, on one condition: cite the source. The citation names "Thymely Aromatherapist" and askthymely.com, visibly, in a form that suits the medium. Some examples:
- In an article or handout: Source: Thymely Aromatherapist, askthymely.com.
- Inline: "...according to the Thymely Aromatherapist (askthymely.com)..."
- On social media: "via Thymely Aromatherapist, askthymely.com"
Please do not present Thymely's answers as your own original research, and do not remove or hide the citation.
A few things are not allowed, with or without a citation.
- Copying the library or large parts of it.
- Reselling or sharing access.
- Scraping or bulk-downloading answers.
- Using answers or library content to train, build, or feed another product or automated system.
The Thymely and Aromahead names and logos are our trademarks and need our written permission to use.
7. Playing fair
Use Thymely lawfully and kindly.
Please do not use Thymely to break the law, to harm or harass anyone, to attack or overload our systems, to get around access limits, or to reach other members' accounts. Do not try to extract Thymely's underlying software or models.
8. Ending an account
You can leave anytime. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel a membership as we deem necessary.
You can cancel your membership from your account page and ask us to delete your account and its data at hello@askthymely.com.
We reserve the right to suspend or cancel any membership or account at any time, as we deem necessary, with or without notice. That includes breaking these terms, especially sections 3, 6, and 7, and in serious cases we may refuse future service. Where we can, we will contact you first. A closed account loses its chats, favorites, and profile notes, and fees already paid are not refunded. Sections 6, 9, and 10 continue to apply after an account ends.
9. What we promise, and what we cannot
Thymely is provided as is.
We work hard on Thymely and its library, and we keep improving both. Still, we cannot promise that Thymely will always be available, error free, or complete, or that any answer is right for your situation. To the fullest extent the law allows, Thymely and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy.
10. Limits on liability
Our responsibility is capped.
To the fullest extent the law allows, ThriveEO LLC and the people who work with us are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from Thymely or these terms. The same applies to lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us for Thymely in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred US dollars. Some places do not allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You agree to cover us for claims and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, that arise from your breach of these terms or your use of Thymely's content in a way these terms do not allow.
11. Changes to these terms
When something matters, Thymely shows you what changed.
We may update these terms. When we do, we update the date above, and when a change matters to you, Thymely shows a short note of what changed and asks you to accept before your next question. If you do not agree, stop using Thymely and cancel from your account page.
12. The legal part
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, United States. Disputes are heard in the state or federal courts in Montana, and you agree to their jurisdiction. If a court finds one part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stands. If we do not enforce a term once, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer this agreement; we may transfer it if the business is sold or merged. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about Thymely.
